Junior Girls Scout Swimming Badge - Woodbury Middle
Girls participate in activities that will cover requirements to earn the Junior Girl Scout Swimming Badge.? Areas that are covered are water safety including the buddy system, swimming skills with the front crawl and a resting stroke, under water swimming and retrieving objects, and learning to dive starting with a sit dive.? Safety is discussed throughout the workshop with the girls.? The remaining time allows for free play.? Girls will received a certificate of participation.
