KAREN THIELMAN enjoys the colors and beauty of flowers, blooming trees, and shrubs. She grows a variety of perennials and annuals in her gardens for blooms throughout the season.  Karen has been a Master Gardener since 1998, and is the past Chair of the Master Gardeners in Washington County. Master Gardeners receive 52 hours of classroom experience taught by professors in specific areas of horticulture through the University of Minnesota Extension Service.
