Computers 101 - for Complete Beginners

Do you have little or no computer experience and need an in depth course on Windows XP basics? Leave this class with a solid understanding of the basics so you feel confident to continue! We'll start with an overview of the computer, then give you time for hands-on exercises to learn how to use a mouse to access pulldown menus and manage the desktop. Create folders, copy and delete files, and learn skills for working on Windows applications. Have fun learning how to send e-mails and look up information on the Internet. A helpful resource book is included. This class is intended as a prerequisite for the majority of our computer classes, especially application-specific classes such as Microsoft Word and Excel. No discounts on this class.

No class on May 5.
