This course takes a look at the new web trends in social networking such as FaceBook, and MySpace, with a special focus on LinkedIn. Discover the purpose and potential of these exciting new web forms, and learn how to leverage membership in these on-line communities to develop and expand relationships, advance your career, create groups or communities of your own, find jobs and other opportunities, and promote yourself, your cause, organization, or business on-line. We will provide you with hands-on time to create and complete your on-line profile on LinkedIn and learn how to promote your organization, cause or business by creating a group on LinkedIn or a Fan Page on Facebook.
