Indian Breads
Learn how to make a variety of delicious breads, popular in India. Naan is a leavened, oven-baked flatbread. Puri are like fried tortillas. In addition you will make a Chickpea/Potato dish and a Stuffed Paratha which comes with a potato filling. We will pair these with a traditional Indian mint yogurt. To satisfy your sweet tooth, we'll finish dinner with a traditional dessert called Samelina Hulva (pudding). Bring a rolling pin if you have one. Come hungry and bring a beverage if desired. Please bring a dishcloth and towel to class and plan to help with cleanup. Food cost is included.
