Belly Dancing

Explore the beauty and expressiveness of Middle Eastern Dance! Discover why this exciting dance form is gaining widespread popularity as a fun way to increase fitness, muscle tone and flexibility. Learn the fundamental movements of Middle Eastern Dance in a relaxed, supportive environment. Conditioning exercises will be taught to strengthen and tone the muscles needed for isolation movements. Learn to play basic patterns with zills (finger cymbals) to various rhythms. Previous dance experience is not necessary. The movements are low-impact and suitable for all ages (15 and up). Loose fitting, comfortable clothing or dance wear is recommended. You may dance in bare feet, dance sandals or ballet slippers.
