Pilates - Intro. Beginning
Pilates is a series of floor toning exercises designed to strengthen and stabilize your core abdominals, low back, and glutes while offering mobility, strength, alignment, and body awareness as you complete the exercises. Through intentional breath patterning, the mind-body learns to work as an integrated whole. Experience, explore and master the five pilates principles of breathing and body alignment while learning the first eight to ten "essential" exercises. Recommended for beginner level or no prior fitness experience, those with special considerations, and those unfamiliar with Pilates. It is advisable to take this course prior to the Pilates - Ongoing. Exercises are done without shoes. Please bring your own mat and towel.
CHE SWAGGER has 20 years experience in the fitness industry as a group exercise leader, independent personal trainer and fitness consultant. She is the owner of Che's Massage and Fitness through which she specializes in helping clients meet their goals and enhance their lives through a combination of hands-on bodywork and mind-body group exercise programs such as pilates, yoga and cardio kickboxing.
