Young Rembrandts Desert Theme
This summer we explore a HOT
theme - the desert. We will draw a collection of images that remind us of this
heat and the dry desert, all while we learn fundamental drawing techniques. We
start by drawing a collection of cacti full of prickly spikes and lots of
color. Then we will draw a coyote in a graphic style with bold color choices.
We'll add a lizard to the known animals we draw as well. To add to the
educational aspect, we will learn about the Navajo Indians and draw a replica
Navajo blanket.
